Conte d'hivern

2010 | Assistant director

Theatre - Text

Premiered on November 3, 2010 at the Festival Temporada Alta de Girona

Some mistakes can be forgiven if there is true repentance. Leontes, feeling unfounded jealousy because it is his wife, and not him, who has managed to convince his friend to stay longer at their home, publicly mistreats her and punishes her disproportionately. After a while and through a friend of the family, the only one to confront Leontes, he becomes aware of the error of his ways and deeply regrets what he has done. And as a reward for his attitude, Shakespeare invents a fantastic finale where the impossible becomes possible. A story about intolerance, full of contrasts, feelings and passion, adapted to the 21st century.
